Employee Learning Week
December 8-12, 2008
The purpose of Employee Learning Week is to increase awareness about the value of learning and its impact on your organization’s bottom line.
The week provides an opportunity for business leaders, managers, and learning professionals to recognize the importance of workforce development.
Now is the time to ensure that employees have the knowledge and skills they need to help their organizations grow and be successful.
Use Employee Learning Week 2008 to recognize the strategic value of learning in your organization!
CITY OF DES MOINES PROCLAMATION PRESENTATION – PLAN TO ATTEND
You are invited to join us Monday, December 8th at 3:45 p.m. at the Des Moines City Hall (400 Robert D Ray Drive in Des Moines) as Central Iowa ASTD receives a proclamation from the City of Des Moines in recognition of ASTD’s Employee Learning Week (December 8-12).
The presentation will occur PRIOR to the meeting at 4:00 p.m., so your time commitment will be very short. Don’t worry, you won’t have to say anything; your presence will signify to those present that we are proud to be part of the Central Iowa ASTD chapter and support Employee Learning Week.
You don’t have to be a member to attend this special event; feel free to pass this invitation along to others you know who also value learning in our organizations. We look forward to seeing you there!
