In Celebration and inauguration of our new partnership between Central Iowa SHRM and Central Iowa ASTD, we are pleased to invite you to join us for a special session of learning and collaboration.
Session Topic: Coaching & Mentoring to Enhance Individual and Team Performance.
Guest Speaker: Dawn Marie Roller, MBA – Owner Weak2Strong, Apollo Group Professional & Independent Beachbody Coach
Session Overview: Coaching and mentoring is a foundational component of every organization’s ability to grow and develop. Coaching and mentoring must happen between managers and employees and should happen between fellow employees. The challenge becomes identifying opportunities to provide coaching & mentoring and then how to effectively coach and mentor.
Key objectives: During this session Dawn Roller will lead us in discussing:
•· Strategies for conducting formal and informal coaching and mentoring with individual employees
•· How to develop goals and action plans with your employees having a sphere of influence and informal board of directors
•· How to foster a culture of peer to peer coaching and empowerment that promotes collaboration and team success
About Dawn Roller:
Dawn Marie Roller maxes out life in the fast lane personally and professionally. Dawn is a 20 year veteran in the corporate world, 15 year veteran at owning and running businesses and a 10 year veteran of Higher Education. Dawn exudes a passion for driving results through innovative solutions. With ADHD and Asperger Syndrome as a talent, Dawn challenges the people she works with to innovate, think deeper and move faster. Dawn is committed to excellence and will go the extra mile for integrity.
In finding Weak2Strong, Dawn assists people to improve physically, mentally, financially and spiritually. Dawn has assisted leaders within many industry realms to address Human Capital Management challenges, motivational challenges and financial challenges/solutions domestically and globally. With Apollo Group and University of Phoenix Dawn serves as a territory leader with Workforce Solutions National division servicing clients needs domestically and globally. As an independent Beachbody coach, Dawn has a heart for grandparents, such as herself to stay strong in addition to the average adult.
Dawn is currently enrolled in classes for a Doctor in Business, Global Organization Effectiveness and Homeopathic Medicine Certificates. Dawn earned her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2009. Dawn holds a ministry license in the State of Missouri and has flight hours toward piloting. In addition Dawn has a magnitude of certifications and completion courses.
Dawn is active in a number of industry and community organizations. She has served on leadership boards for A.C.E. Association of Contemporary Executives, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, St. Louis RCGA, member of the American Society of Training and Development and adorns many accomplishments. Locally, Dawn supports community action to help homeless shelters, battered women initiatives and local hospital Newborn Intensive Care Units. Nationally, Dawn drives support for the American Heart Association, Disabled Veteran’s of America, Shoes for Souls, Friends of the Hungry and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
